Ballistic turret tapes

I diy it with label paper and a laser jet printer. Clear packing tape over the label. Turret tape printed in Mils, then marked with fine sharpie with yardage every hundred with a 50 yd tick mark between.

I have Mils memorized for my loads but the backfire YouTube guy has some "turret tags" that look pretty cool. I've been contemplating getting some for my lesser used rifles

I get a paint marker and make a little puddle of paint on a scrap bit of plastic packaging. I then take a very fine pointy object like a needle and write numbers on my turret with it.

If I need to change, I wipe them off with a solvent and do it again.

This is a great low cost idea. I may go this route

This has to be low key one of the most valuable threads out there. How many times I’ve stressed in the moment fumbling around with my ballistics app and turrets like a teenage boy taking off first bra!
Great ideas

I started off trying to use some fine sharpies to mark on the turret lines, but it wasn't great in low light. This is a great idea - I'll give the paint and needle trick a go this year.

Custom Turret Systems. The website is easy to use to design your own turret markings.

The attached photo is a stock photo from the site, I do not have a photo of one I designed.

It's unfortunate they just photo-shopped the stickers on the turret in the picture. Curious what these look like on a real dial. Post back some results if you go this route!

Take a look at the video on the bottom of the link and you can see the actual stickers being placed on the turret.
