Don’t love the scope that’s how it worked best with that one at least it was when it was on an MDT oryx. Probably need to adjust it. Just got the stock on it and have only shot it 3 times.Holy eye relief Batman.

Semi custom tikka owner here - I notice a lot of guys are going to the UM tikka rings that mount direct to the dovetail. I like that idea! I think I’m going to try it out for myself…
My question - are you guys running out of elevation adjustment without a 20 MOA base? I realize this question has a lot of variables… just wanted to see what you guys are experiencing with your setups.
For reference - I’m shooting a 7MMRM / 162 grain bullet / 2,900 FPS. Also planning to try out a NF NX8. Mainly because they show more elevation adjustment vs the 30mm scope competition. I appreciate any input on
Tikka dovetail rings were a thing before UM. Dovetail mounted rings rock, IMO. All my Tikkas have them. Sportsmatch makes some great ones as well as UM.Semi custom tikka owner here - I notice a lot of guys are going to the UM tikka rings that mount direct to the dovetail. I like that idea!
