Backstop for shooting inside your house?

Would a single horse stall mat hanging be sufficient to stop a rogue arrow?
I have one laying around and it's unbelievably heavy and awkward to lift.

I shoot in the basement. About 11 yards. No backstop aside from the concrete slab behind the drywall. If I completely miss a Block target I deserve to lose that arrow. Spackle takes care of a 5mm hole in the drywall.

Should have read this before heading downstairs. Good news is I have an indoor 10 yard range. Needs some work though.
