Backpack Hunting

Yep. I pretty much always have my pack when in the woods. At a bare minimum, even when I'm not hunting something specific, I carry my kill kit, tags/license, camera, first aid, binos, and .44 mag in my pack when I'm out and about.

Doesn't matter if I'm just hiking, checking trail cams or actually hunting. I never leave the truck without a pack.

+1 you learn mighty fast that the pack could turn out to be your life line and hopefully from someone's mistake

I carry a pack mostly in hopes of killing something and carrying a load out or the whole animal depending on size. It saves a wasted trip if you have a pack to carry meat.

If I'm hunting big game, I've got a pack.

Small game, not really.

My BT1 is my security blanket. I always have it on except in camp or on a stalk
