Oh for sure, Mike the Muggle was hard to watch and was definitely at the left peak of the dunning-Kruger graph! (Credit to whoever brought that up that graph recently).
I’d be really interested to see a similar challenge with a deer cutout like you’re saying and judge impacts after the fact for lethality.
Eric Cortina is doing something similar over on his YT channel. 500 yards, adult buck target out of AR steel, swinging inset vital zone 5" circle. So, a one-shot cold bore challenge at a ~1 MOA target. Bring any rifle that you can carry. Most guys seem to be at least at the high amateur level of training and gear. Some are PRS/NRL pros. Interesting to watch.

I'd love to take a hunting rifle to that challenge.

Dudes bringing 30 lb rifles lol. He asks them all do you hunt with this? Most say yes, one guy said he's shot 4 deer or something and Eric asked the range and he said about 75 yards for all of them. lol
It's a good series though, would be fun to go shoot and see how far off I am.

That’s bad ass, I’d love to see this, you must be quite the shooter.

Please post a video of you shooting a 5 MOA moving target at 200 yards, standing off-hand with a magnum cartridge. If you hit more than 1/10 shots I’ll send you a prize.
I'm generally a half ass shot on paper and game standing still, but on running game I'll roll alot more than 1 out of 10. More like 9 out of 10. I'm not sure if you are meaning hit a 5 or 10 inch plate at 200 yards, but apparently you'd be surprised at how often. It's been years since I didn't eat a deer that I shot at running. Up until 5 years ago it was with a 30-06 or 270, but now it's with a 22 inch barreled 300wsm.
My brother and son shoot much better than me on paper and still game. Honestly I don't recall my 63 yr old brother missing a deer or my 35 yr old son missing since he was 8 or 9 yrs old. They don't shoot at running deer with a rifle. As for me, on more than a few occasions, I've missed deer freehand standing still, then bolted in another round and rolled them up while running. I don't shoot paper unless I'm zeroing a scope, which I do for many others, or occasionally checking zero. Other than this, shooting paper bores the piss out of me.
I won't be filming a video as rolling tires with cardboard held on with duct tape at quarter away down a bush hogged powerline hasn't been fun since I was about 14.

I'm sure there are many backwoods folks out there who can roll up deer on the run with a rifle, apparently just not on this forum.
