Anything with Packgoats gets my attention. Great to see them getting out.
Looks like younger goats. The more you use them the more they get into it and before you know it you'll collect them.

Where are you based out of?

Thanks, yeah they didn't have much weight on them they were young. Now they are nearly full grown. They are all around 215 lb. I live on the outskirts of Ogden Utah. What about you?

We are currently in the middle of a slow move from WA to MT.
My oldest turned 4 this year so ready for full weight.
We purchased a really nice buckling this spring and used him to breed this fall. We are keeping him intact for future breeding. We have 2 doe expecting this spring.
I've got 6 actual packers between 180 lbs and 250. They love their trail time!!
I'm thinking about a small scale packgoat business in the future. Probably sell some boys each year that are pack started with some experience. Possibly talk to some local outfitters around us and see about packing people into lakes or backcountry during the summer for them. I figure it would provide a unique experience for people and keep my animals in shape and maybe some income to feed them.
