I've used the Hubba Hubba for a couple years and liked it. I'm 6'7" so I needed something bigger than the Hubba. It's a little heavy/bulky, but if you fit in a Hubba it'll probably serve you well.

I have a Hubba Hubba, as well as the Hubba. They're great tents. They're not the tents I take every time I head out, but they have their place and I enjoy sleeping in them.

I spent a year sleeping in a Hubba. Its a good tent. Keeps the rain and bugs out. Sets up easy. Light. I generally like MSR designed stuff. I havent keep up on the scene, so I dont know whats out there now that rivals it.

I have used the MSR Hubba NX 2 for two seasons now. Overall, it's a pretty good tent. My scale puts it at 4.3 lbs with rain fly and footprint, so there are lighter options out there in that price range, but still a good tent. Only criticisms are that there aren't any inside storage pockets or optional gear loft (MSR makes a universal one but it leaves a lot to be desired), so the inside can get a bet messy. On the other hand, the double vestibules are quite large and easily fit a large pack, firearm/bow, boots, and leave room to get in and out. Also, if putting up in the rain, the inside is going to get wet. If there is a practical away to pitch with rainfly attached to poles, I haven't figured it out yet. If getting a good deal on one, wouldn't hesitate, if price is around msrp, again, there are lighter comparable options out there, just depends on how weight conscious you are.

Oh that could be it! I have the version from before the most recent 2018/19 update - that changes the coating to Xtreme Shield, moves to Easton Cyclone poles and removes seam taping. Which is a heads up to anyone purchasing the newest version, you'll likely want to seam seal it if you're expecting some rainy days.
