So I finally decided to get my first can. Read specs on the scythe ti and thought that's the one I need. Seems they are backordered at SS and the shipment coming in won't cover all the backorders they have now. I started looking around and saw a thread on here where a few have come apart. This got me started looking at other options. One can I can't find anything about on here is a B&T SRBS 7.62 TI. Has anyone used this can? From what I have read it is designed to limit blowback from a gas gun. My main use will be on a 22 inch 300wm bolt gun. It's a little heavier and about 300 bucks more. Just wondering if the extra money and weight would be worth a possibly tougher can.

IMO, I wouldn't swing the extra cash for the SRBS Ti if you're not going to use it on a gas gun such as a AR10 platform. From what I understand of the physics, it'll likely be quiet for you but not for bystanders. You don't benefit from the lower back pressure on a bolt gun. Also from what I've heard in my AR circles, the SRBS 5.56 (non-Ti) is pretty baller for AR15.

At this point, I'm sure one of the goals you have is to have it in hand for next hunting season so I'd wait to snag a Scythe Ti or look into other Ti "traditional"/tubeless cans like the Diligent Defense Enticer S or L Ti. In fact, I'm going DD Enticer L-Ti for my 16" bolt gun. As light and as quiet as it'll get for a bolt gun where it'll stay. I have other LBP (low back pressure) cans for my gas guns.

I am a complete newb on suppressors, but that's the way my reading on the b&t seemed to look.
Guess it's moot point now. Read up on hyperion ks last night and ordered today.
