Thanks for the clarification, I realized the pending charges people were talking about were their cc. I didn't realize the portal would take so long to update.

it is incredibly frustrating. The AZ system is pretty archaic…but I’m not complaining!

Just an FYI that the AZ G&F E-Tag app will display your drawn tag(s) days before the portal is updated.

I don't know when the app will be updated, but it is before the portal for sure. Or at least it was a couple years ago.

I have checked three times to make sure I didn’t put in for a cow tag on accident.

It’s simple, notch on your phone if successful. Probably not likely to leave your phone at home by accident.

for sure, I'm way more likely to lose a tag then my phone. and i can always log into another phone. New Mexico, you still have record data on ribbon or something, but thats something you can get anywhere.
Check out https://hunt-tag.com/ met a guy that owns it in the field and he gave me one, it's pretty nice if you want something more than just survey ribbon.

Applied for a tag with enough points that I “should have” drawn based on the last couple of years draw cycles. Maybe I lucked into point creep! LOL.
