Well I got it done on Day 3. My first elk hunt was a success and it was an experience of a lifetime. We saw a bigger bull on day 1 but I just couldn’t pass this one up at 40 yards when he presented the opportunity. They weren’t bugling very good at all. I ended up making a few cow calls knowing I was close to the herd and called this one up along with 3 other satellite bulls. Thanks to everyone that gave me advice and support.
