I am going to be in the Burnet, TX area in mid may. Are there any places to hunt Axis around there? Or hogs? I was thinking something like just a 1 day hunt as I wont be there long.

Lots of both. Axis love alfalfa hay.

There are few ranches that you could do a one day hunt and kill atleast a doe, but will be more safari style. It’s an exotic so there are zero method restrictions on hunting them out side a $65 speciality lic
