On my sheep hunt here in Colorado this year while setting in the same spot every morning waiting on the rams to dump off the top I finally looked up into a Dwarfed pine tree and saw a shovel stuck in it upside down. It is very old and I can see which way the guy used it. most of the wear is on the left side. Most likely on old miners shovel. The only prize of my Sheep hunt. No frozen critters. Bob.
Every year I find a handful of balloons that finally lost their lift. Last year though I found some that had been let go from a middle school three hundred miles away. And the single red balloon I found still makes me wonder sometimes. It had a note attached to it that said "I miss you everyday and love you always." -Mom. Who knows where that came from and the story behind it...??
i don't know if you can see this well with the sun on it [and vandalism] but its indian hieroglyphs of deer and such in Utah- so this must have been a good deer hunting spot for quite some time!
i have some better pics of hieroglyphs in Arizona between Tuscon and Phoenix [but not on this computer]- some on just single rocks out in the desert and in amazingly good shape
