Not my best pics, but a cell cam in my back yard sent these to my phone this morning while i was trying to motivate myself to get out of bed. Mama and cub.
I Was spring bear hunting in idaho, watching a sow with cubs, phone chirped, it was this jerk on my property mocking me. No spring bear season at home anymore
Mountain Lion on the driveway. First time we've ever seen on one camera in the area. Did confirm on camera it was a lion as we originally thought it was a bobcat.
Old mosse carcass i figured was a wolf kill, already old and stripped but hung a cam anyways. These guys came along a few more times to gnaw on bones. Also a bobcat or two, buncha yotes, and a whole damn mess of bears.
Had a treestand here, but never hunted it. You can see my boot print in the snow in the bottom right corner of the pic. Went down and put some estrous doe piss out, with the intention of coming back and hunting that stand the next day. Well, i changed my plans, this pic was the next day, and i hunted elsewhere. Still kicking myself in the ass. And my stand and cameras down there were stolen, to add insult to injury.
Few posts back i put up pics of a coug and her cub. Walked back there today and swapped cards on a cam i have on the same tree in video mode. Turns out she had 2 cubs, but my cell cam missed one. Thought a single cub was strange. Normally see 2-3 cubs.
Oops, wrong video. That was a cat with 3 cubs that was hanging around last year and earlier this year. This was the video of mqma lion two days ago. Maybe the same mama, dont know. Female lions will share territory and im kinda running a cougar farm here so its hard to say. https://vimeo.com/886567565?share=copy
Also heres a couple other cat pics, walked up near the top of my property and checked a couple cams i havent touched since august. Think this one is a good tom.
