Does anyone have a solution for attaching a water bottle pocket to a belt pouch matrix? I want to attach a water bottle pocket tot he side of my 14r.

You can attach it to the compression strap by weaving the strap though the three bar sliders or hooking the three bar sliders together

Thanks, I went out and hiked around with it connected both ways. Weaving the strap through the three bar sliders (and I also connected one of the other three bars into the belt matrix) it was a little sloppy. Hooking the three bar slider together and running the compression strap through seemed to ride okay, but I think it will be a pain when I need to manipulate the compression strap. I'm going to see if Kifaru can/will make an extension with a three bar slider on each end that could attach to the belt pouch matrix.

Yeah, I was trying to see if there was an easy option for attaching it to the pack. I just bought a bottle pocket and it arrived today, but when I threw it on the belt my arm kept rubbing against it. So I wasn't sure if that was going to drive me crazy or not. I'm going to head up in the hills and put a few miles on it tonight before I decide for sure. Maybe I just need to build up my lats so my arms stick out to the side more:)

Gotcha! I guess you could always get some webbing sewn to the pack. If you don't sew, and don't know someone who does, I bet an upholstery shop would do it pretty cheap.

Well, I'm glad to say that after a 5 mile hike with the water bottle attached to my belt. I didn't notice it near as much as I had originally thought I would. Problem solved.

I mount mine on the belt directly against pack. So as far back on belt as possible. Still very easy to reach but not in the way.
