Athlon Cronus G2 Dual Focus vs. Vortex Razor Gen 1

Looking at these two scopes (the 86 and 85 mm models) probably going to snag one on Black Friday deals but I can't help but think...are these two the same scope in different armor? They look pretty similar, have the exact same FOV (117-60 ft), same eye relief, same magnification. I wouldn't be shocked if the Athlon was actually 85mm. Has anyone had these side by side? Is there any difference? Vortex looks cheaper and a tad lighter so might just go that way.

I own the Cronus dual focus. Several hunting buddies with the gen 1 razor. Everybody I know who has looked through both agrees the Cronus is better. I wouldn’t say it’s real close to be honest. Honestly probably even better than the gen 2 razor. The Cronus does have a more obvious tunnel effect, especially at low power, but the clarity is better. Most Athlon spotters seem to outperform similarly priced scopes from other brands in my experience.
