You probably saw the "golf" Garmin ($399) which looks real similar to the Xero.

Does the Athlon work just like the Xero, or similar? Are these chronographs really worth this kind of money?

I used a buddies to check it out and very easy to use and does everything I wanted. One thing of note is he said the Athlon and the Garmin varied about 10 fps in his experience. That was the only feedback I was given on it.
