I purchased one of these spotting scopes earlier this year and have enjoyed it.
Got it discounted and have brought it to the range a couple of times and out white tail hunting as well.

The other day looking through the glass on the lowest mag I’m seeing some very jagged, almost looks like broken glass, on the outer ring edge.

I haven’t noticed this before and was wondering if this was normal or if anyone else has had this. I haven’t dropped or dinged the spotter that I can remember and has been mounted to a large tripod the entire time.

I know there’s a warranty that I can send it out but I’m just seeing if anyone else has experienced this before I send it out

Look through the unit while shining a flashlight through, in both directions, and see if there's something going on inside

As Doug said looking in the objective end with a flashlight might show you what's up. Also if you could capture a picture it might help identify the problem.
