Athlon 10x42 fixed power scope

I'm curious if anyone has tried this specific model yet? A lot less moving parts in a fixed power so should be more durable in theory. Would be putting it on my 260 Rem if I go ahead with it.

First time i've seen that one. You could get it, test it and let us know. But the easy button would be a 10x SWFA. It's good to go.

Can't get the SWFA in Canada unfortunately. The Athlon looks really interesting though.

Id bet if you put up a WTB thread for a 10x SWFA someone will ship one to Canada. There's also a lot of eBay. The 10x SWFA is pretty easy to find it's the 6x and 3-9 that are impossible

You can import swfa into Canada through Prophet River firearms. Easy enough process... they end up being pretty expensive tho!

I found a place that has this Athlon in stock so I'm going to order it as soon as I can. Figure at worst it would be really good on my CZ 452 22 lr if I don't like it on the 260 Rem. Who knows maybe it will end up being as good as the SWFA fixed powers.

Yes I should have mentioned it that it comes in a mil version too for rise that prefer that.

Edited to add, Expert Voice has them substantially cheaper. Cancelled order with Amazon and ordered through Expert Voice.

Awesome , please let us know how it works out. I was just about to get the MOA version but it looks like their MIL version will be better. 10 MIL hash mark reticle vs 50 MOA, seems like the MOA should be about half that. MIL is sold out up here from what I could find so I'll have to backorder it or just go with the MOA.
