ASAT leafy

Bought a bunch of non-patterned clothing thinking I'd wear the old ASAT leafy over the top.

But there's obviously a reason it's not common. Too many snags? Or something else?

Seems ideal to be able to hunt in, basically, "whatever" since it's a mesh oversuit but has anyone actually tried it? Does it just snag up too much to be worth it?

TIA!

I have the ASAT leafy suite and really like it. I guess it could snag a lot while still hunting but I use mine stand hunting for whitetail and it's great. It's the best camo I've ever used in regards to deer not seeing me.

God Bless.

never had an issue with it snagging on stuff. i plan on picking up another before next season. just need to go down a size. they size them generously so you can wear them over bulky clothes.

I've worn an ASAT leafy suit for 7 years now and it's always worked well for me. I quit wearing camo for deer hunting this year, but still wear the leafy suit while turkey hunting and while it can get snagged on briars, it's never been enough of an issue for me to worry about while turkey hunting.

I do the same thing for turkeys but dont wear it for big game hunting. In my experience the pants do snag on a lot more than a pair of slim hunting pants would.

I really like mine, haven't tried to spot n stalk with it yet but I should and will this year.

I mainly used it hunting off the ground for turkeys, and in a stand for whitetails.

Interesting. So stand/blind hunting it's good, but no one really seems to take it big-game hunting/backpack hunting.

Thanks for the feedback everyone.
