Fair enough. But no I don't have fb or insta and I don't follow anything related to CO as I don't hunt there. Figured someone may find it useful was all.

This is the worry, it will be thousands and thousands, they will only limit themselves when they run out of prey. Really the only way I see us coming back from this is too much negative human wolf conflict. Front range hikers getting eaten is what it will end up taking to get folks to maybe consider some time of management. Also I do think the recreational activities and places they take place might be greater in Co than MN, I could be wrong, but people are in the back country 24/7, 365 these days

MN's north shore is crazy busy spring-fall, just like CO's hot spots. The entire northern half of the state is full of grouse hunters during the fall. Tons of people fishing year round. I follow tons of social media related pages for MN hunting, fishing, camping, etc. I RARELY see anything about wolf/human conflict or people even seeing them in person. On the flip side - I know guys with cabins and cameras in north central MN and all they get on cameras are wolves and an occasional coyote. My only point is that the wolves are obviously experts at avoiding people and the areas where people are.

And yet there is still Deer and people still out hunting them.

I've guided several hunters from Minnesota and Wisconsin some guys say the hunting hasn't changed others say it's down in some area's of the state.

I was just talking to a coworker that moved here from FL about this. When I was a kid EVERYONE went deer hunting "up north" - meaning north of the twin cities. I haven't heard anyone talk about going up north to hunt deer in at least 10 years now. I spent several weeks all across the the northern half of the state this spring and fall hiking/camping/hunting grouse and I didn't see a single deer outside of city limits which seems to be the same story from most everyone up there. Hunting in the southern half of the states hasn't been affected by wolves but we have our own problems with CWD hunts now. As is typical of hunters - 95% of the guys in the southern half don't care about deer and moose in the northern half as it doesn't affect them.

Appreciate the response it will be interesting to see how it unfolds for sure. Never spent any time in the North woods so not sure how similar or different it is from Co. one thing about Co is the recreation that happens here today pretty unbelievable unless you live here

It's definitely going to be an interesting experiment. With the Idaho experiment, we really didn't get much information at first. Primarily because it was super unpopular and secondly, the internet really wasn't up and running efficiently. It's going to be hard to keep interactions on the DL.
