Article (7/28/25): Eroding Protections for Public Lands

I think the idea that posted towards the end of the article that current officials might think that opinion will change as underfunded and understaffed management makes for a worse accounting of federal lands is preposterous. Everyone interested can see the actions. People will remember. The negative outcomes will be a direct result of policies and choices enacted by the current administration and people will remember where that came from.

I’ve never been so proactive with reaching out to elected officials as this year. We can’t lose the momentum to tell elected officials to keep public lands public.
