Didn’t get any pictures of Artemis, but I was just telling a neighbor how cool it is to live near Cape Canaveral and be able to walk out your front door and see these rockets go off. Everyone on the neighborhood was outside watching it.

I’m not a space nerd, but I will say it doesn’t get old. Its something I would recommend everyone do once in their lifetime.

One heck of a rocket. My father was involved in the early stages of planning, development, process, and design of the Orion module. Let’s hope the trip goes well.

The amount of energy flowing out the back of the engines is incredible.

I watched it with my 4.5year old girl. She thought it was great and if course had tons of questions. I dreamt of being an astronaut as a kid so that was special getting to watch with her.

I'm hoping I'll be able to take her to a launch in person sometime

When those boosters lit and 6 million pounds (!) of rocket all the sudden started moving like they did you'd have to be dead not to be amazed by that. I grew up near DC and the Air and Space museum was a major part of growing up. My kid grew up in Seattle and the Museum of Flight was a similar impact. Good you had your kid with you to watch.

I will say, remembering the Columbia disaster as I do, I was on the edge of my seat knowing so many eyes were watching. I hope it's a 100% successful mission. and I love you can stream it 24/7 - what an amazing time to be alive.

I remember watching the Saturn rocket launches as a child on a black and white television set, a Space shuttle launch in person in Florida, and now the Artemis rocket launches.
