Arrows for high poundage

Just curious what arrow anyone with long draw and high poundage is shooting? Like over 30” and 80 lb and up.

I was shooting the GT Kinetic XT 200's out of my PSE Freak at 75lbs and 32 1/2" draw. But they just couldn't keep their specs or tolerances for long and shoot pretty poorly now as they all wobble. Currently shooting my old Trophy Ridge Crush 300's and they're shooting very well. If I didn't have these, I'd try the Axis match 260's or go back to the BE Rampage 250's in .001". And if I didn't get the accuracy I wanted out of those, I'd go all the way back to my ACC 3-71's.

I'm at 30" draw and pulling 84 lbs. I'm using the Easton Axis 260, they seem to hold up and shoot well. They are sitting at 525gr and scooting at 292 ft/sec. Haven't played with any other arrows yet, as I don't know what I'd even switch to. I thought of the Day Six arrows, but I think I'd only be able to run the 50gr outset.

I've got Easton Full Metal Jackets flying nicely from 75 lbs and a 29.5" draw. Using 3 AAE Max Stealth for fletchings and they are stabalizing quick & quiet. Super quiet compared to blazers or other "faster" fletchings.

I’ve had problems with any system with half outs spinning true for long. I’m in the same boat, thinking either the Axis 260 .001 or Black Eagle Spartan 250 .001

The half-outs and outserts never work out well for very long. Been using HIT's for 12 years with great success in many different arrows.......except the Kinetics, but that isn't the HIT's fault.

Oh, they work alright, but the Kinetic arrows are so easy to break (even behind the HIT insert) that it doesn't really matter. And the arrows themselves wobble so badly after a bunch of shooting that there really isn't much you can do about that.

My favorite arrows to use them in were the TR Crush arrows that were discontinued a few years ago........tough as heck. I've shot steel T-posts and only mushroomed the field points. I'm back to shooting these again since the Kinetics all wobble. I need to try the Axis Match Grade and see if they've improved those over the regular Axis.

currently using the victory VAP's 250, with the 100 grain stainless outsert 90 pounds at 30" draw, have had good results with them, they are by no means the toughest arrow made. Other option is the grizzly stick but they are pretty damn pricey at $140 for 6 fletched arrows

I would take a real close look at the BE Spartan 250. The tolerances on them are tight! They have the best fitting inserts I have ever worked with and the fact that they come in a .001 straightness.

I'm shooting 71-72 at 32 inches. Shooting VAP Elite 250s. They have been great.

I havent had any issues with the kinetic 200s. They are way more durable than axis and shoot great for me.
