What length arrow wraps do you guys recommend. I'm using two in blazer vanes and am torn between 4 and 5inch.

I use the shorter ones in pink. Like them to see them and be able to find but want the shortest/lightest to keep the best FOC.

I use 4" white wraps w/ 2" vanes. White helps you to decipher the hit if you cannot visually follow the arrow to impact.

i prefer the look of 5" vanes to the 4" ones. my ez fletch sets the base of the vane about an inch from the end of the arrow so i thought it looked weird having the same amount of wrap showing before and after the vane. i get them from onestringer on AT.

I use the 5" white ones. I like being able to see what the blood looks like and it's easier to see your hits with a big chunk of white on the end. I use weight inserts and/or heavy broadheads so I'm not worried about messing up my foc. I also think it helps to find the arrow if it gets buried in grass etc.

Do you guys find you get a tiny bit of overlap when your wrap. Probably about less that a mm

Also what's a good way to line them up, I have been trying the mouse pad technique I saw on the knock on YouTube videos

The little over lap doesn't really hurt anything, nothing to worry about. A mouse pad or your fingers works about as good as anything...just go slow so there isn't any creases and you will be set.

I index all of my nocks first, marking the top of the shaft with a silver Sharpie. Then start the wrap at 3 or 9 o'clock in relation to the nock string groove, so the wrap misses the vane gluing placement....then do them all the same, and re-clean the wrap with acetone before gluing in the jig.

Thanks I was hopping I didn't have to go back and strip them down. Finally making some arrows and it's not to hard. Messed up the first two but stripped them and started over and they are good to go
