You said you verified timing is correct, but you didn't say you're sure it's dropping. If you try other things and it's not resolving, I personally might be looking at another rest, who knows, maybe it's bad. I like Limb Driven as well.

If you're sure it's dropping before the arrow gets there and you still have contact - then you need to look at the launcher / fork or rest position (e.g. potentially move the rest and your nocking point up, making sure the arrow isn't below center of the berger hole when horizontal) I would verify this anyways. Bring the rest up, put an arrow on your string, and check against the berger hole (probably behind your rubber shelf pad, so would need to find a white/silver pen to put a dot to check against)

I was kinda looking at new rests and was thinking the vaportrail gen 7 looked promising and I was gonna get it from Cabela's but those communists don't carry left hand equipment so now I need to figure out which rest and where to get it from

I personally like Hamskea, and I like Micro Adjust rests. Hamskea Hunter Hybrid Micro is what I use. Better if you can find it at a discount though.

Non Micro version here:

Yes, Limb Driven will work on any bow.

See if your cell phone has slo mo. Iphones do and it is good enough for this exercise.

If it were me, I'd tear is all apart and start from scratch. Verify the bow is in spec. Verify cams are timed. Etc. Then start adding things one at a time per the instructions (with help from Youtube). Adjust and time the rest. Then, set the nock point either level, or a tad high (1/8"-3/16"). Set center shot. Then get to the tuning.

Sometimes starting over is the right way to go and you know what is what. The Vaportrail is a nice rest. Hamskea is nice as well.

Yes, a limb driven rest will work an any bow regardless of age.

For anyone following this thread, here is a 'How To' video for rest setup.

These guys are friends of mine and do a great job.

Also being an older bow will a limb driven rest work on it?
I had a Vapor trail on a 2006 Bow Tech Patriot. It should work on really any bow.
I have had 4 different Vapor Trail rests from the original to the new designs. I can not recommend them enough. I have a QAD on one of my current bows right now...and while it shoots really well I'm switching it out for a Vapor Trail. I have also used the Trophy Taker Smack down and liked it a lot also,.no problems what so ever.

Also on the arrow topic...Get those things cut down. doesn't look like it is the problem with your bow but uncut for your draw length is not right. I have a Weston 8,000 RPM saw and it is paid for itself in less than a year. Now I cut and build family and friends arrows. Family get done for free. My buddies throw me $5 a dozen for cutting so they don't have to pay $10 at the shop or buy a saw.

It should, but my 2006 Old Glory with non-parallel limbs wrecked havoc on one of the original LD Pro-V's. It might have been those limbs slapping back into rest position in combination with my 32 1/2" draw length and heavy arrows, but it didn't work well at all.

So I want to thank everyone that has offered me advise with my bow it has really helped me a lot. I went to the Bowtech dealer today and showed him the pictures that I posted on here and told him the issues I have had and he recommended moving my rest back, towards the string, and down so I tried that and the contact issue got worse, which I kind of expected, so I moved the rest forward, towards the riser, and tipped it down so it's burried in the shelf, the frame of the rest isn't level like recommended but the contact issue is gone! I then shot my f.p. and b.h. and got them grouping fairly close. I then went back to 40 and shot 6 single arrows at the same target for the CBC and got all 6 in the kill zone!

With all that said I have one question. After I cut my arrows down to where they should be will I need to retune?
