Arrow spine question and recommendations

I am shooting:
Elite Hunter
29" draw
72 lbs
28" arrow
125 g broadhead

As it sits now, I am shooting my Carbon Express Maxima KV 350 arrows with a 125g BH. Total arrow weight is 435g.

Are these arrows under spined? With field points they fly great. With broadheads everything is hitting right about 4". I have moved the rest horizontally and the gap between the field points and the BH's doesnt close. The reaction of the BH leads me to believe it is a spine issue.

If someone could run my stats through an arrow shaft selector, and let me know that would be great.

I am purchasing new arrows in the next while and was wondering if I should go to a .300 spine arrow for a 125g head. Thoughts?

I shoot a very similar set up, except 68 lbs and 28.5" arrow. I shoot 300 spine. I think most published spine charts are outdated on the soft side. I do think you would get better results with a .300 spined arrow. Can't say for sure that that is your problem, but it definitely wouldn't hurt to try it.

Shoot a bare Shaft. I believe if right under spined and if left over spined. Check on line for verification. I found my new bow with recommended shafts was over spined and to the left. When I found the right spine it was dead on and two sizes off what was recommended according to the charts.

I will probably just buy 3 of the 300 spine shaft and give them a go.

Drop your point weight to a 100gr and take 2# off the draw weight and see what that does. I dont think you are underspinded at all. What broadheads are you using?

Shorten your draw length. Your spine is just fine. Very few bows are that sensative to spine. Your arrows could be on the weak side but my Answer shoots great there. If your draw length is too long your right elbow (right handed) is behind your head pulling the string horizontally out of line with the cams resulting in the broadhead pointing to the right of the field point when shot and no amount of fletching can pull that BH back online like it can with a field point. So the BH flies right no matter what. Shorten either the mods, d-loop, or release and the gap will shrink.

I thought up a better explanation of what is happening. When you draw back with a draw length too long the arrow looks like this / compared to where the bow is pointing. (that is exaggerated a little) Anyway with a field point the fletching is able to pull the field point in line with the fletching and go where you are aiming. With a broadhead the fletching cannot pull the broadhead due to the blades (with an expandable it will be between the field point and fixed blade) in line so instead the fletching will align with where the broadhead is pointing resulting in the point of impact right of field points. This is only true if rest adjustments toward the field point either do not correct the problem or only shrink the gap a little and then it stops shrinking.
