Arrow setup for 31" draw length

Hello, Ive been getting lots of info from rokslide these last few years and decided to finally make an account. I just recently purchased a Mathews v3x 33 and im not too sure about my arrow setup. my draw length is 31 inches. the arrow build im looking at is a Easton axis 260 spine cut at 31" or align with the riser an ironwill 125 gr 50 gr brass insert a 17 gr collar. i have slight concerns with this setup from what im seeing ill be under spined. i try to be around 12% foc. assuming with that setup my speeds will be right around 274-280 fps. im also considering black eagle rampage. if there's any recommendations let me know! Thank you.

Sounds in the ballpark. I'd guess you could shorten the shaft by a couple inches, unless you want a 31" arrow.

I havent checked what the length of the arrow should be typically like the tip of the shaft align with the riser with a fixed head.

I mean you can. I haven't done that since using drop away rests. Do what you're comfortable with.

Since your asking opinions.

I would cut the arrow down to 29.5ish depending on your rest.

Use a standard hit insert and drop the 50 grain brass piece. Maybe use a BAR from easton instead of the collar and you'll be right around 510 TAW.

I have a 32" draw length, with a drop away rest behind the riser, I have my arrows cut 1/2 inch past the rest at full draw.

I'm shooting fmj 250's at 70lbs with 125 magnus stingers, stock inserts. Overall arrow is a hair over 500 grains. Getting slung by a mathews traverse. Which reminds me, my bottom cam timing is off and I need to adjust that before fall shooting prep starts next month.

I have a very similar setup, 30.5" draw with grip removed. Shooting (for now) easton axis 260's, 90gr inserts, and 125 gr heads. 589 total weight, shooting in the low-mid 260's

Spine has been peachy for me, but I cut my arrows to a hair over 29" carbon to carbon. This has been totally fine with a drop away rest, even shooting 1 1/4" fixed heads.

That being said, I'm wanting to switch to a lighted nock this year, so I may scrap this arrow setup entirely for a lighter gpi so that I can keep my foc at a reasonable %
