Arrow length to maintain spine?

This is the first year I’m building my own arrows. Ive been scratching my head trying to figure this out with the HIT insert system I want to use. Here’s what works best for my setup.…….
Carbon to carbon the arrow is 29.75”
Half out insert is 55gr
Field point is 150gr
Total up front-205gr

I’ve got the new arrows but I’m not sure where to cut them. I plan to shoot 205gr up front between the Ethics Archery HIT insert w/sleeve and broadhead. That is obviously different than a half out. What will maintain the closest spine that this “test” arrow Ive been shooting?

Should I cut the new shafts the current carbon to carbon length then install the HIT insert or cut to the length of what the half out tips out at?

You're overthinking it. The length difference you're talking about will not appreciably affect the arrow's dynamic spine. Also, compound bows can shoot well with a wide range of spines, so there's no reason to fret over a minor spine change.

Yep.

Plus I didn't see the spine listed or your draw length, bow and lbs bow is at.

Don't get too in to the weeds. 90% of your accuracy will be from your ability.

If 29.75 ctc works best for your setup, I would cut it there, install insert and vanes and try it.
