I sold mine and bought a 44 mag when they had come out with it and love it but I still miss my DT2 every day.I'm still using a duplex timberline 2. Really like the layout. Only Kifaru bag I've ever owned.
That was keannu Reeves in "my own private Idaho".reminds me of a shirt... I'm not gay but $20 is $20

You have identified the exact appeal. It's modularity, multiple packs, lids, and pockets available to fit your needs. Once the pack is set up there's no fuss and it's just like any other bag.Maybe I'm just an idiot (most likely the case) but I never got the appeal of kifaru packs. Every video I saw looked like you'd need 2 hours and a PhD to figure out how to put the pack together with all the straps and buckles. Add in trying to do that with a boned out animal, in the dark, in freezing temps... I'll pass.
I'm more of a keep it simple stupid kinda guyYou have identified the exact appeal. It's modularity, multiple packs, lids, and pockets available to fit your needs. Once the pack is set up there's no fuss and it's just like any other bag.
Well actually The first Kifaru bags were just one big bag. Minimal if no pockets. Very simple.I'm more of a keep it simple stupid kinda guy
But you get to pay for the extra material, straps, and buckles by having a really heavy pack. You have identified the exact appeal. It's modularity, multiple packs, lids, and pockets available to fit your needs. Once the pack is set up there's no fuss and it's just like any other bag.
