We all make mistakes and make poor choices and decisions. How anyone could think filming something like this is/was a good idea is beyond me. It’s not surprising he was fired and I don’t blame BP.

My sentiments exactly. If someone is so far down the content producer black hole that this seemed like a good idea, I think it’s about time they find a new profession.

Watched the video, seems to be blown out of proportion, IMO. I give 2 shits about either involved , but I don’t think he would lose his job if BP was an actual hunting company. Look for clearance packs soon.

Did he post the video or did some rival or someone he has beef with release the video? Some here are hinting that Aron posted it. I doubt that's the case but I'm not sure.

While I don't find the video that offensive, I think the filming party is just as guilty.

A knife to the heart/lungs is a pretty quick death. Probably a bit faster than a gut shot buck with an arrow.

As far as the kick to the head, lots of trappers dispatch trapped critters with tools that do not include firearms.

I think one important thing that some people are ignoring when calling for Aron to be hung here......is this was 8 years ago.

Im 39. I can honeslty say that throughout my life and even now, I look back at some stuff I did, or how I handled a situation 5 or 10 years ago and cant believe how immature I was. 39 looking back at 30, 30 looking back at 25, so on and so forth.

As much as I dont like the guy. Im not sure its fair to judge him in 2026 for something he did in 2018. Unless he himself posted it, which I doubt.

If someone ever videos me grouper fishing, I'm getting fired for sure. I catch 1-2lb bass, store them in a tank so I can eventually put a giant hook thru their head without killing them, and send them to the bottom hoping a giant grouper inhales him.

I definitely see some fair points especially in regard to the fact that Snyder didn’t post the video himself.

The however is the fact that this individual has made his life around being an influencer, posting videos, making podcast and being an “authority” for backcountry hunting.

With that comes more responsibility than the rest of us. Some may not think that’s fair and I understand that opinion. But just trying to explain why many are being critical of something that many wouldn’t normally pay attention to

I think that "authority" should bring about killing the coyote in a swift manner. The small pocket knife shallow puncture in the scapula is never going to make it to a podcast's game changer list of how to anchor a beast.
