Aron Snyder fired from Born Primative

Was just about to start the thread too. Here’s my take -

Won’t take you but 5 seconds to see the video going around of him torturing a coyote. Antis with millions of followers are reposting the video and already drafting more anti predator hunting legislation according to this dude with 1.7 million followers who goes after animal abusers.

*** Glad to see he got fired instantly from Born Primitive, maybe my new favorite company.

Fan boys and friends are going to rally to his defense out of sheer stupidity and ego. And we will have more hunting bans. Watch this thread get locked too, all for bringing to light a massive problem in the industry and some pathetic influencers. Cant wait to see the next ban on hunting and everyone blame the pink haired crazies for it, but not blame the idiots who post dying or tortured animals (especially predators) for millions to see.

Yeah, I am fired up. Enough is enough. Stop following hunting influencers. They are killing our heritage video by video.

I hunt all predators, but watching a grown man torture a coyote like he’s an 8 year old with extreme neglect torturing the neighbors cat boils my blood to no end. Then thinking it’s a good idea to post it!? We aren’t soft for taking a stance on “hunters” who torture wolves, coyotes, or anything else. So if that’s your first reaction go watch the video, if you still have that reaction seek help from your family. Need to take a walk now… go ahead and flame away, delete, or lock the thread. A lot of us are used to it.

I'm not a fan of this dude in general just for whatever reason never cared for the way he presents his content. Saw the video, guess it would be better if he shot it but there's zero context to the video at all and appeared he's also trying not to get bit in the process of dispatching it with a knife. Maybe he shot it with his last round and didn't have a sidearm, nobody knows... Doesn't appear he's throwing it around for fun or anything. I remember when I was a boy my father dispatched a wounded buck with a knife to the throat and it was pretty freaking violent but a fairly common practice. I think we may be getting a little soft these days.

Edit: Also drives me nuts to have these threads with no sources. Here's a link to the Wyoming article: https://cowboystatedaily.com/2026/0...yote-torture-video-allegedly-shot-in-wyoming/

Haven’t seen the video. I saw their instagram post then came here figuring there would be some information on it. I was surprised not to find anything here so I made the post.

saw the video.. meh! piss on BP

The coyote was attacking a ranchers calf... coyote ends up wounded... Aron drags it out of the brush, chases it down kicks it in the head then stabs it... coyote dispatched within 30 sec.

Have you ever seen hog hunters with dogs stab a pig?

Couldn't agree more. Those saying he's torturing seems like a big stretch considering there is literally no context to the 30 or 40 second video. I completely agree it doesn't look great, but to say he's torturing it, or its horrific animal cruelty seems very misguided. It was a coyote he's trying to kill with a knife, no idea if there are other weapons available. It appears in the video that he is trying to not get bit by the thing. We have no other information unless there's more out there that I'm missing.

What's done vs what's posted for the world to see are two different things. Most of us have had to handle some sideways situation in an appropriate manner but we don't post it.

Make your bed and sleep in it.

Exactly

I'm not going to watch the video.

It seems obvious not to post something like this. Why even film it?

Was he fired for the video or was it a convenient excuse for them to fire a guy I could see with an HR file 3” thick? That’s the type of thing you capitalize on when you have a problem employee that you can’t quite get rid of some other way or you need to negate a contract with.

The difference here is you and your father didn’t film it. That’s the problem with this world, everything has to be documented for likes and subscribers.

If they didn’t film no one would be talking about it right now.

This is my opinion of it. Did a lot of stupid stuff when I was younger. We just didn’t film it and post it for the world to see and I grew up with video phones and social media.
