This is just after I left Cody and started the stalk




On the way to pack out my bear Cody spotted another

I brought two barrels with me (260 and 308). We ended up using the 260 for the hunt, but Kifaru can build them in any caliber.

Those are some pretty good looking animals.......and the bears aren't that bad either.

All in all, it was a super fun trip with Aron. I think we saw 13 bears total. 1 stud (that I'll probably go back and kill soon) and 2 really good ones (1 Aron did kill). I think we can put a 2014 trip on the books.

Sorry I didn't break down and shoot a smaller bear for the live hunt.

We took it all, I didn't weight it but I'd guess around 80 lbs ish. Whatever it was our packs were HEAVY.

Just got a call from triple and it sounds like they killed another one this morning! Call was breaking up, but I understood killed, bear, dead, friend and a couple f bombs

The shooter was a friend of triple, so I think he's still holding out for a giant.
