UPDATE!!! They are in a new area and almost to top of the mountain.
About ten miles in and sweating out breakfast.

Berries are awesome in this area and something will die soon

Berries aren't as good at camp, but not bad.

Had a bear walk by camp at 6 this morning. Tried to talk Cody into shooting it, but my efforts were futile!

We're just above camp now and no bears yet.
