So AZ rut is non existent. Herd of 50 girls, only horned creature was one of the mommies lil forky. All the 200" bucks are still in hiding or growing..

thanks - i will look at it. I have used Top Rut, very helpful. This whole business has just gotten to complicated and out of control.. You used to be able to apply, get your tags, and the locals would point you in the right direction. Funny i still see some of those people. Thanks

Decide if you wanna chase Coues or Mulies, sage desert, or higher elevations (OTC archery high elevations are mountains below the rim for the most part).
I was in 22 today morning and early afternoon and saw a dozen does but zero bucks (I’ll take mama’s button baby, only people at my house that eat antlers are the dogs).
Watch your wind in the drainage cuts, cold mornings I have better luck staying low and glassing up-all depends on the thermals along the hillside.
