Arizona Mountain Goat

Today I heard about another mountain goat that was killed in Arizona which sounds interesting to say the least. Since it's a non-game species in Arizona I assume it is legal as long as the hunter had a hunting license. Wondering if anyone has heard anything more about the goat or knows any more details? I guess since it's one of only 2 that I've heard of its probably a new state record, or at least in the top 3 haha

As far as the legality, seems it's all legit as AZ does not have them as a listed game species in the state and would be no different than feral hogs and Barbary Sheep. As far as my personal feelings about the situation, it's pure jealousy. Haha, but seriously, I have a lot of points to hunt these in Utah and as a non-resident in Utah, I'll probably never get the opportunity. What an awesome encounter and experience that lucky AZ hunter had.
