I just got back from a caribou hunting trip in Alaska. For the trip, it was me and two others. After doing a ton of research, I decided on buying an Argali Selway with the inner earlier this year. Upon receipt, I was amazed with how big it was. It can comfortably sleep up to six people.
Went to Alaska with it and the inner, along with my cheap backpacking stove. We spent 8 days in the tent. Tent is super easy to pitch. The rectangle orientation assists with the initial layout of it. We encountered rain, wind, heat, and snow on hunt. Tent did an amazing job. Condensation would have been an issue if we didn’t have the stove, but the tent liner would have been brought if we didn’t have the stove.
Again the size is quite impressive. Even though it is large, the tent and inner packed down to the size of my Kifaru 20degree slick bag.
All in all, I’m very happy with my purchase. I would highly recommend it to anyone on fence on tents to purchase.
