Argali Dyneema 2P and 4P Tents

Brad, with these stove compatible like the Silpoly version, is there any risk to the dyneema fabric or anything like that? I know SO does it but I thought I had saw somewhere once that it isn't great for the dyneema... I could be miles of the mark here but figured I would ask. I've been waiting for this version!

Are there any benefits or drawbacks to going with a longer stove pipe on these tents? Or is it pretty safe that you won’t get embers landing on the tent if you use the recommended length?

I'm not sure if I'm understanding your question correctly, but just like with the silpoly fabric, embers can burn small holes in the tent (usually the size of the head of pen). It's a fairly uncommon situation, but depending on the wood you are burning it is possible. It isn't a super common issue, but if you wanted to avoid it entirely you could run a longer stove pipe like a 7' on the Absaroka. For what it's worth, I use a 6' with the Absaroka.

It is fairly uncommon, but really depends on what type of wood you are burning. If you wanted to add a little safety net, running a 7' stove pipe would be fine.
