Im looking at getting the 419 type s die for a 6.5 prc. Says it sizes to true dimensions so there isnt clickers. Anybody have any experience with it?

I had one for both 7 PRC and 6.5 PRC. I actually got rid of them for a different reason.

I bought them due to exactly what you said, (no clickers as per 419s description). I also wanted to try the pull through mandrel to eliminate a step in my brass prep process and avoid messing with different bushings. I found that the downstroke on the press to pull the mandrel was obnoxious trying to get the mandrel pulled back through that I just didn't want to mess with it and I would just continue to use a regular mandrel after sizing.

I tried lubing the insides of the neck etc. and couldn't really get it to where I liked it.

For what it's worth, I have switched to Redding Type S Bushing Dies (which best I could tell size all the way to the base, but not positive). I sized some 2x fired 6.5 PRC with 419 and Redding and the measured base diameters were identical.

I have the type S for 6.5 and 7 prc and I still get clickers. I added the cortina mandrel die without the mandrel to size the base properly. I was surprised how much work the cortina die did after I sized my brass through the 419 dies.

No idea about the A419
If you are getting clickers the Redding won’t fix them, Hornady were better but not perfect.
Only fix is to open up the back of the chamber, I did mine with sandpaper on a stick.
