Area 419 hellfire vs TBac CB ultra design for suppressor adapters

What does everybody recommend for suppressor mounting options? Running multiple cans for different rifles.
I currently run Thunderbeast tbac cb hub design pictured. I’m looking to swap to the hellfire universal adapter design pictured also.

My thought process on this switch is to minimize poi shifts and be able to also utilize a better muzzle brake. By having the taper before the threads on 419 will that make it more consistent changes?
Am i overthinking this or do I have the right thinking? Thank you guys for thoughts

Do you have TBAC cans or did you but CB hubs in non-tbac cans?

I am pesonally not a fan of the Area419 solution. I got it when i was a one can guy with lots of different muzzle thread pitches so I could swap around because the adapters were cheaper than TBAC CBs.

My gripe is two fold - opposing thread directions lead to me frequently loosening one thing while trying to tighten another. Annoying.

Also, it's just adding one more adapter and tolerance stacking. And it's not that light.

If you're using CB cans, the SRS Mini adapters are more appealing to me than both CB and 419 but i've never used them. They are lighter and less expensive. I just weighed a A419 CB adapter with a 5/8 thread adapter (and some carbon) at 2.6 ounces. That's 1.8 ounces heavier than listed weight of a SRS Mini.

Downside with the SRS Mini is only 1/2 and 5/8 threads. No 9/16, 3/4, or metric threads. Also, Ti probably isn't as reliable a material as steel but I've never had an issue with Ti DT hubs.

From a design standpoint, the taper before the threads adapters make more sense to me than the CB just to protect the threads from carbon, but it seems you're set on CB. To your point about threads being behind taper on 419 adapter - for that to matter you'd have to stick a CB adapter into every can (expensive) otherwise the CB interface is still the same as it is with CB muzzle devices.

To me, all of that shit is just excessive cost, weight, length added compared to direct thread.

I ended up just getting stuck on the hub mindset since that is what I got started with. I got the srs chub tbac on a few rifles and I like the recoil portion of it when I shoot rifles with no can. I haven’t really looked into direct thread as much. I was told originally I would potentially have more poi issues? Which thinking about it I would think even less ? For me weight isn’t as big of an issue rather then modularity is my biggest concern though weight still matters.
At this point though I really don’t like even running a brake these days 😂 rocking a can with recoil x is kinda my new go to. I guess with this post my thought process is to see what everybody recomends as the best do all solution. I have a reaper and a scythe ti at this point. I have 2 hubs for cb and 1 hub for 419 hellfire that I have acquired through bartering. Eventually the goal is to have a can for each rifle but for now I want the most modular system to throw cans on 6+ different rifles. Toolless swapping. Since I’m already invested at this point if it’s just better to keep the srs adapters that I got rather then get a newer setup and added weight. Or just forget the hubs and rock direct thread. Part of this started from wanting to run a suppressor on my PRs rifle but also have a solid brake available. I can time the recoil x when the can is mounted on the tb and setup for that match that way. Thank you for the info
