Are there Barbary sheep in las cruces

I’m going a little north of las cruces on 40 acres of private land that hasn’t been hunted. I’m hunting Barbary sheep but afraid I’m wasting my time. Does anyone know is there are any sheep there.

40 acres isn't really much to hunt sheep on...but I guess if there happens to be one there.

If you’re only able to hunt the 40 and expending any resources I’d pass.

On my old property in Dixon, I’d often see bighorns in the hills like 200 yards away from where I’d sit in my kitchen and drink coffee. Of course you couldn’t hunt them but it was still cool.
