First magazine ever from a PCP on target. Umarex gauntlet 2 in 22 with side lever. Cheap scope. Gun pivoting off round aluminum rail (pictured) with 5 year old on my back. Not bad. obviously I strung them a little bit when it comes to latitude. Makes sense considering the circumstance. Not complaining though. Look forward to really dialing it in. Gun with 23 gr pellets and Air Impulse 1200 super moderator. Super neighborhood friendly. Trigger an absolute joke. Have already found a $100 fix for that, which will be happening soon. The 70 shot / tank claim found online likely a stretch. In thinking like 50.

Happy with this , though. Certainly not gonna win any competitions, but this was a major rush group.

Have you ever shot a springer? I have a RWS 48 which is very fast and accurate and LOUD. I have been kicking around the idea of a 25-30 cal pcp myself but have been around one zero times to compare the noise.

The Benjamin Discovery was my first PCP years ago, it's fantastically light, accurate, and a joy to carry but it's a single shot and it doesn't have a integral moderator. Mine lost pressure from a crumbling valve stem or valve body after many years of service. Rebuilding was easy with a new part, o-ring kit, and youtube video.

Then I bought a Benjamin Marauder which is accurate and quiet, but heavier and the stock is more of a bench style and not as fun to carry. However, I love the 10 pellet magazine.

I'd love a repeating Disco, maybe someone makes something similar but I quit researching after the M-rod purchase.

I ended up buying a Hill hand pump after the Benjamin pump quit. I believe the Benjamin pump can be rebuilt.

I have a Diana / RWS from like 1995. It’s been rebuilt once (spring). Was also loud AF. I’m liking this gun. It’s just huge and trigger stinks. Trigger will be fixed.

I never got really good with springer. Shot it mostly iron sights and tried a few SUPER budget scopes. I imagine if I’d spent a little money on decent scope and tried various .177 pellets I would have improved.

I looked at the marauder. Didn’t really wanna spend that much money consider considering the offer on this set up. I knew what I was getting in terms of the gun just being huge. So far, the only real disappointment is the trigger. Which I could probably learn to deal with. Just super odd to go from mid range to high-end firearms to this.
