Arctic oven ursa

I am going back to Alaska in a couple years for my second moose hunt there. I am thinking about a different tent. Have any of you used the Arctic oven ursa? I am thinking about the ursa or maybe the Nortent Vern3 or something like that. I don’t really think I want a floorless shelter.

I really think the ursa would be awesome. I used a stone glacier this past year and was stunned by its wind strength. But it had some design issues I really am not a fan of. This it’s is next on my list after clients ruin my stone glacier.

Everything about the AO tents are effective and comfortable, except the weight. If that's not a deal breaker, you won't be uncomfortable or concerns about the weather.

I shouldn’t really have much of a weight limit this time. I will be on decent sized boat.

Id just give AO a call, they didnt like the idea of crazy high winds with the ursa..that may or may not an issue for ya..the other tents are bomb proof evsn the single pole tp style tents

The ursa has the one side that is kind of flat that looks like it would catch the wind pretty good.
