Archery talk

In all honesty, I’ve had great experiences selling on Rokslide. I’ve never had a bad experience. I use PayPal goods and services on every transaction, no funny business, stay true to obligations, not much that can go wrong if you’re honest, open, and communicate.

I've had good experiences buying and selling on both Rokslide and archery talk. I don't use archery talk very often anymore though.

this is the only forum I have an account on. the local ones are the same 6 guys telling everyone how they are wrong about deer and fishing and post their bragging photos, even when there is nothing to brag about.

AFAIK - the one guy is a master captain, fishing/hunting guide across the lower 48 and alaska, senior electrician, hvac, plumber, mechanic, gunsmith, bow tuner, negotiator, and cook. Crazy he has all that time while on the forum 8 hours a day.

Turns out I just needed to update my password lol I’m on there now!

Must be buzz!:ROFLMAO:

I have received 2 1 year bans over there, the last one for post a meme in the politics section. Apparently they didn't like me. Like others I have bought and sold a ton on AT and would go back just for the archery classified section alone.

I just found rokslide but used AT in the past. I remember AT being easier. I stumbled on here and because someone was selling mods that I could use for my sons bow. Now I have to wait 10 days or maybe it was a week and make 10 posts! Annoying, hope the mods don't get sold.

If you think Archerytalk is bad . . . go check out GlockIQ forums sometime. 99% of the posts are
"Thanks for posting"
"Thanks!"
"Thanks for the link"

Etc. People doing anything they can to get to the top level and get their blue label coupon for a discounted gun.

Could be these requirements are to Help Stop Scammers as some get taken so to try and stop and show you are a true Archery Enthusiast & not there to make an easy dollar things that happen here also happen on AT. Some want an item and post some personal Info like email and a small percentage attempt to take advantage of that person. To weed out what they can Forums including Rokslide have rules It helps skow down a few taking or scamming others of their money or items trying to sell.
I no longer buy anything Used because sending $ and actually getting that Item has become challenging add to that most things are now considered Oversize which increases the cost of S&H and the Carreiers (but Pirate ship) know that. Whether sending a barrel & action for some upgrades or a bow both are now Oversized and even at 34 inches are some $'s to send it. Just the new way they are trying to make some $. Like USPS will be increasing it's costs this year... So unless you can meet up or pick up add some dollars. Not like it was 20 years ago sent a Compund Bow (48 inch tip to tip cost $15.00 including Insurance) Now it is more like $40.00 and hope it gets to its destination???
Times have sure changed Scammers are every where even here so never post any personal details only give that in a PM better safe than Sorry!
Been a member at AT since 2003 but the new ownership has made it not much as archers helping archers today as it once was....
