Archery elk hunt within 2 hours of Denver

Avoid trial heads and well marked trials. Pick a nasty access point with no easy parking or trail head within in a few miles and you will find elk. Most hunters access from the same trials and hunt the same land over and over. Think easy for hunters. Avoid. Think difficult for hunters. Hunt. Elk are not stupid.

I need two hands to count the number of opening weekend BUGLING bull archery harvests I have been a part of, and that is around 75% of the opening weekends I have seen.

Basically what he's saying is 60% of the time it was successful 100% of the time!

It won't be up till after the left over draw is done. Since you don't have to buy the OTC ahead of time it would be worth your time to watch and check frequently, they update it at some interval as tags come in.
