Looking for budget tripod recommendations. Its for a Tikka t3x roughtech w a mountain tactical short rail. Any help appreciated.. not wanting to spend much, looking for a desktop / bench model.

Leofoto Ls 364 is what I have. Works great for the money. I refuse to try a $800+ tripod so I don't know what I am missing. But the 364 is a great unit for the money

I have a Leofoto LS-324 I have been happy with. It is stable shooting from with a 10lb rifle. And so far everything is holding up good on it.

I just received these a couple of days ago, after looking for the same thing: lightweight shooting tripod.

So far, from playing around at home, it seems great for the money. Too short for me to use it standing, but sitting, kneeling or prone is really nice. About ⅓ the weight of my Bogpod too.

So far, from playing around at home, it seems great for the money. Too short for me to use it standing, but sitting, kneeling or prone is really nice. About ⅓ the weight of my Bogpod too.

Ditto on the 364C. I have two of them that i use, I'm 6'4" and they work great to glass or shoot off of. My buddy that is 5'8" uses the LS-324 and like that one for his height. Had bought them on Amazon, but ebay seems cheaper right now.

I have a Sirui Am-284, I was happy with it for binos and light rifle work.
I did not like how short it was. I installed a riser on it, and it just made it too funky to carry. when I bought my Leofoto with the 55mm head, I was quite surprised how much difference the leg diameter made for torsional deflection. pretty giant upgrade, for not much more money.
