Arca/Pic Rail compatibility with Gunwerks Elevate 2.0

I have the Elevate 2.0 on order and would like to use an arca/pic rail to mount. I'm told any picatinny mounts with a slot is causing issues with the bipod mounting lug when locked into position in that it doesn't have enough meat to clamp to, due to the slot. Who's had issues and is there a solution other than using just a standard picatinny rail mount without the arca rail combo? Arca/Pic rails I've considered are the SRS and the Peak 44. This is going on a Peak 44 Bastion stock. Thanks.

I used the SRS, just need to make sure to attach the bar of the Elevate to the solid portion of the rail that doesn’t have cut outs so it gets full engagement. (Hope that explained it well enough)

This is from SRS website. Do you have a version that's different than what they are showing here? Or is this what you're using?

No I’m just using the SRS front pic rail, 3” long.

Looking at your pic I don’t think the Elevate will work, there’s too much open space on the pic rail section.

I have the srs full length hunter rail that is a longer version of your picture. My gunwerks 2.0 dosent engage with the lugs on the pic rail. The GW 2.0 does have a clamp adjustment screw that I tightened down a little and the bipod now works fine on it without lug engagement.
Not Ideal but oh well.

Maybe GW or SRS could come up with an arca/pic rail that keeps the slot on the arca portion and a just single screw in the picatinny rail?

We've had a lot of people running our combo or pic rails with the Gunwerks.

No, it doesn't engage in the lug, but as said previously the Gen 2 has the adjustable tension. Essentially just makes it like arca where its just clamp force holding it in place, and not the lug.

Thanks for your response. I actually ordered your arca/pic rail today so I'll put it to the test.

Now if someone made a longer lever for the bipod so you could actually lock it down properly, we would be set.

totally understand where you're coming from with this. I'm just saying on the arca/pic combo rails that are out there they have a continuous slot running thru the entire picatinny portion of the rail that some have said cause issues with the lug on the GW bipod.

I actually ordered one of these today as well in case I have issues with the arca/pic rail combo. I tend to overthink/over-evaluate everything.... It's my kryptonite :ROFLMAO:
