ARC rings?

Bringing this up instead of starting a new thread. ARC ring instructions specifically say Loctite not recommended, any comments from the guys who've used them? 1st pair of ARC for me.

I've put a handful of scopes in them but it's been a while. I don't remember reading that so I probably did the standard degrease and locktite and used their recommended torque values without issue. Doesn't make it right though..

Iv put blue loctite on the scope tube bolt but not the picatinny.

I can only assume torque values might change dry vs wet, the bolts seem to have some oil on them from shipping.

I bet if you call ARC you will get the thousand word answer.

They're recommending oil or antisieze.

In the three sets I’m currently using I’ve only ever degreased and torqued to 55in #, they’ve never budged and I’ll check torque throughout the year.
