ARC rings?

Will be getting my 6.5 saum soon,need scope rings.
Defiance anti-x, Bartlein 2b steel
Was going with Hawkins pic rings but have to purchase rings now.

Can anyone shed some light on ARC height. Will be running a Bushy 4.5x18x44mm lrhs2.

Any other rings should be looking at?

Should be fine with lows or extra lows. They have a penny measuring chart on their site that works great so you can easily make sure you order the right ones. Absolutely fantastic rings and will make you never want anything else.

On a defiance anti you may have issues with super low mounts and the ocular housing when it comes to bolt clearance. Something to keep in mind

Action. The anti has a .1” smaller bolt handle diameter but there has still been a few threads about it.

No, they are my choice of ring if I’m using picatinny.

Money no object I currently wouldn’t buy any other.

These are mediums on a tenacity. Temporary scope. Low seekins didn’t cut it.

Was thinking of trying to find buy an anti width handle, I guess they are .35” instead of .45 on the tenacity.

Looking at these versus the Hawkins lightweight tactical rings. Is the weight difference worth it? I believe the ARC rings are about 3oz heavier.

Hawkins are nice rings. Don’t care for a built in level. I prefer arc simply because they are easier to mount. Both have held my scopes just fine.

I just put a VX5-HD 3-15x44 in the extra low ARCs on an X-bolt. Worked out great.

Yes, there is plenty of room for covers. I’ve got alumi-caps but there is about 1/4” or so.

The tight spot is at the front of the rail but it works fine.

Bringing this up instead of starting a new thread. ARC ring instructions specifically say Loctite not recommended, any comments from the guys who've used them? 1st pair of ARC for me.
