2" groups are pretty normal for me using any of the AAC loads, from 69gr SMK to 77gr OTM.. Looks like you solved part of your problem though. Agree you should try some FGGM, Black Hills, ELDm, etc and you'll probably shrink those groups by almost half. Then you can keep the AAC for practice, and the good stuff for "work"

Yessir that is my plan exactly! I was not expecting stellar groups from the AAC stuff off the get-go transparently. But I was also expecting better than 3” groups lol

Plan was to sight in, break in & practice with the cheaper AAC then see how the Black Hills, IMI, Federal, Hornsby etc want to play.

I just shot my AR (BCM 16” upper, S&W lower, SWFA 1-6x on nightforce mount), and it shoots ok, but not great. I wish i could get smaller groups, but i think this will be ok for my needs in this gun. I also think a lot of the folks around here tend to shoot better than me.
