Anyone using Hornady ELD Match for LR hunting?

I don't want to debate if we should or not. Just want to know if anyone has any first-hand experience with them on animals?

We shot 2 whitetails with the 6.5 140 eldm and they never expanded. We quit using them.

At what impact velocity?

This is what I recovered from a 147 gr ELD-M at an estimated impact velocity of 2200 fps. Only ribs were hit.

Dang! I had a box of 147 ELDM but planned on getting some Berger 156 instead. That's making me reconsider...

My 6.5 PRC, shooting 147 gr ELD-M @ 3050 fps, is continuing to work like a charm. Here is what it has done in 2022 for Coues (high shoulder and DRT):
2022: 675 yards (estimated impact velocity 2253)
2022: 750 yards (estimated impact velocity 2173)

Hopefully the hunting gods will smile upon me this year and let me draw something in addition to Coues.
